Sadaat Foundation: From Personal Loss to a Mission of Hope for Orphan Children
Human history is filled with stories that touch the heart and inspire people to serve humanity. One such powerful and emotional story is that of the Sadaat Foundation a nonprofit organisation in Pakistan dedicated to supporting orphan and vulnerable children through care, education, and compassion.
Founded on love, loss, and purpose, Sadaat Foundation stands today as a symbol of hope for children who need protection, guidance, and opportunity.
The Tragic Beginning That Gave Birth to Sadaat Foundation
In December 2016, a life-changing tragedy struck the lives of three siblings. Their beloved mother passed away at SHIFA Hospital, Islamabad, leaving behind a deep emotional void. At the time, Ikram Jabar, one of the siblings, was in Ardan when he received the heartbreaking news.
This moment of grief brought the siblings together. Instead of allowing sorrow to define their lives, they made a heartfelt decision—to transform their pain into a meaningful mission that would benefit others, especially children who had lost parental care.
A Mother’s Love Turned Into a Lasting Legacy
As a tribute to their mother’s memory, Ikram Jabar built a mosque in Ardan. This act of remembrance became a turning point. It was during this period that the siblings realized their shared destiny: to serve humanity and protect children who were vulnerable, orphaned, or neglected.
This vision soon evolved into the idea of establishing an organization that would provide alternative care, education, and emotional support—laying the foundation for what would later become Sadaat Foundation.
Establishment of Sadaat Foundation (SF)
With the support of local and international friends, the Sadaat Foundation was officially established in 2019. The foundation was created as an alternative care facility for children, focusing on providing a safe environment where children can grow with dignity, stability, and hope.
From the beginning, the mission of Sadaat Foundation was clear:
to empower children through education, care, and long-term support, enabling them to become responsible and confident members of society.
Education and Child Development at the Core
Education plays a central role in the work of Sadaat Foundation. Children under the foundation’s care are enrolled in recognized educational institutions, including:
Khushal Khan Cadet College
The Smart School
Al-Qalam School
These institutions ensure that children receive quality education that supports academic growth, character building, and future independence.
Initially, the foundation started with only six girls. Through dedication and trust from supporters, Sadaat Foundation now provides care to 43 girls, reflecting its steady growth and positive impact.
Expanding Impact Through Global Partnerships
To further strengthen its mission, Sadaat Foundation partners with Asmat Foundation in the United States. This partnership is currently working toward establishing a medical unit in Peshawar, which will expand access to healthcare services for those in need.
This initiative highlights the foundation’s commitment to holistic child welfare, addressing not only education and shelter but also medical and physical well-being.
Why Sadaat Foundation Matters
The story of Sadaat Foundation proves that compassion can transform lives. What began as a family’s response to loss has grown into a humanitarian mission that continues to protect, educate, and uplift orphan and vulnerable children in Pakistan.
By investing in children today, Sadaat Foundation is helping shape a stronger, more compassionate society for tomorrow.
